Your Big Day... It's finally here, you've made all
the plans, made sure everything will go smoothly,
you've made all that effort for months
beforehand, do you really think that you'll
remember it all in the future ?
The answer is no you probably won't.
The reality is that you won't see most
of your Big Day on the day itself, you can't
be everywhere at once.
The Groom will never know what happened as
the Bride gets ready because he wasn't
there, likewise for the bride.
Photographs are great but you can't leave
messages via a photograph, for example the
bride whilst getting ready might want to
leave a message for her soon to be husband,
a special message that he'll hear for
the first time on the DVD, this cannot be
accomplished with just photographs.
Likewise, the Bride's journey to the
church (see picture above, actually shot
by me), the photographer had already left
to go to the venue, the Groom would never
have seen this part of the day.
There's so much that a video can tell.
The Biggest Day of Your Life, do you really
want it to be a fading memory ?
How do we operate on the Big Day ?
There's always at least 2 camera operators,
we don't shoot weddings with 1 camera
as we don't feel it gives the same quality
result.
We're very discrete, we don't use
huge cameras, although they are broadcast
quality HD cameras.
We don't run around during the Ceremony,
we stay in our positions, usually one operator
at the back and one at the front near where
the vows take place.
We'll place a wireless microphone on
the Groom to pick the vows, this gets transmitted
directly back to our cameras, we don't
need to be right next to you to hear you.
The same goes for the speeches, we'll
stay in our positions.
For the rest of the day though we mingle
with the guests, try to get a few messages
and well wishes,(try getting that with photographs),
all for your DVD.
Our aim is to provide you with something
that you'll never get tired of watching.
